Montelobos Mezcal Ambassador Is Hitting Up SA This Week

Mezcal is STILL so hot right now. 

Camille Austin, a Cancun native, longtime New York City bartender and brand ambassador for Montelobos Mezcal will be in SA this Wednesday and Thursday showcasing the brands mezcal.

Austin, who goes by @myjuicytaco on Twitter and hence is now my new favorite person, will serve up Montelobos at Mezcaleria Mixtli (5313 McCullough Ave.) on Wednesday night staring at 9 p.m. with two of her own drinks and chingos of Montelobos'. La loba will serve up The Lone Wolf (Montelobos Mezcal Joven, orange, sal de jamaica, sal de aguacate);  La Malinche (Montelobos Mezcal Joven, Ancho Reyes, pineapple, watermelon, lime); El Charro (Montelobos Mezcal Joven, Ancho Reyes, Bénédictine, Demerara, Angostura) and finally, Smoke & Flowers (Montelobos Mezcal Joven, St. Germain, strawberry, ginger, lime).

Visit with Austin on Thursday as she heads to Aldaco's at the Dominion (22211 W. I-10) on Thursday, August 13 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The agave event will feature samples of booze, cocktails and street food for a $15 admission, along with a live DJ.
