Go Watch Stephen Colbert's Late Show Debut At The Alamo Drafthouse

Stephen Colbert officially takes over The Late Show reins from David Letterman on Tuesday, September 8. If you're so inclined to stay up past your bedtime to watch Colbert's hosting debut, you might as well leave the house and make it a communal television experience.

The Alamo Drafthouse Park North is hosting a free simulcast of Colbert's Late Show debut. Avid Colbert fans looking to upgrade their late night talk show viewing experience just need to RSVP here at this link. (RSVP does not guarantee entry, so make sure you get in line early for the screening.) While, Stephen Colbert is the marquee draw, his first guests, in case you are interested, will be George Clooney and the father of the Texas Land Commissioner. You might also know him as Jeb Bush. He's running for president. Musical guests are Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show begins at 10:30 p.m. If you can't get into the screening, don't worry. Clips will be published online by morning.
