The Point Park & Eats (24188 Boerne Stage Road) will be hosting a Foodtruck Family Fundraiser on Monday, September 21 to help support one of their own, whose house burned down this past weekend and was a complete loss. The fundraiser will be serve up delicious BBQ plates along with desserts and access to the bar.
The plates are $10 and will include: BBQ chicken and sausage, potato salad, rice, beans, jalapeños, onions, bread, one dessert cookie and a soft drink or water. In addition to the plates the bar will be open and the proceed's from the draft sales will benefit the family. If you would like to purchase a plate, head over to their Facebook page to RSVP and comment on how many plates you would like to pre-order.
If you are unable to make it out there they have set up a Go Fund Me account for monetary donations. They will also be taking donations at The Point and they have asked for items such as, gift cards, gas cards, clothing for boys, girls and ladies.
