Moonshine and "Rebellious American" fare will share the spotlight at the newest restaurant to open at The Rim Shopping Center this fall.
MASH'D at the Rim, the third of it's kind via a privately owned Dallas company co-owned by executive chef David Kazarian will open November 11 at 17623 La Cantera Pkwy.
MASH'D will join Whiskey Cake and Bowl N' Barrel as out-of-town concepts trying to make it in SA. The scratch kitchen includes "Shareables," "Green Stuff," "Handhelds," "Killer Plates," "Shake It Up Seafood," and "Sweet Stuff." (Sidebar: How do I get into the menu naming business?) On the boozy side of things, the Hillbilly Mixology menu includes funky twists on now-familiar classics. Drinkers will find a Fire Water Martini, Bootleg Mule and Moonshine Sangria along with moonshine flights (fruit infused, white lightning and "a lil' different").
