For a more quiet Fat Tuesday, Painting With A Twist's Northwest location (8910 Bandera Road, 210-444-4176) will offer a two hour-long class for $35 a seat. BYOB and remember: beads optional, celebratory spirit required.
The Ice Lounge (5545 NW Loop 410, Suite 16, 210-200-8706) collaborates with 98.5 this Fat Tuesday for $2 domestics and wells and $3 everything else. No cover.

The Fat Tuesday Pub Run kicks off at Pat O'Brien's (121 Alamo Plaza, 210-220-1076) downtown on the River Walk. The event begins at 7 p.m. and registration is free. Other bars include Moses Roses, Agave Bar, Drink Texas, and On the Rocks.
Luke (125 E. Houston St., 210-227-5853) will host their annual Mardi Gras shindig from 5-9 p.m. with delicious delights ranging from hurricanes, hand grenades, Abita beer, crawfish, fried chicken and hot jazz (on a cool evening).

Finally, Paper Tiger (2410 N. St. Mary's St.) will host its all-you-can-eat bash starting at 4 p.m. with food prepared by Pieter Sypesteyn and co. out of Where Y'at Food Truck. The night includes drink specials and more. Tickets are $20.
