Bonehead Quote of the Week: Just Send the Governor to the Moon, Already

The only thing off-track in a tweet by Texas Governor Greg Abbott this week is his logic.

Abbott was responding to a move by President Barack Obama's administration that provided guidance to school districts concerning transgender students and how Title IX protects those students.

The administration told schools that transgender students had a right to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity, and stopping them from doing so could result in funding losses.

Not to be outdone, some of Abbott's Twitter followers chimed in with their support.

Not even if they are the same sex! No one! Ever!

Luckily, restoring some faith in humanity in the dark side of the internet, multiple users called out the governor, even offering him some advice.
