Shoppers may already know (and are probably super excited) that the home decor chain store West Elm is in the process of opening a new store here in San Antonio. The store is expected to open Thursday, June 30 and will be located in the building that was formerly the Nightmare on Grayson Haunted House, but we anticipate that this time around the building will have less of a haunted feel and more of a local vibe.

In addition to all of the home goods West Elm shoppers know and love, this store will be introducing a collection solely made by Texas artists, including several folks from San Antonio. This collection will include everything from printed tea towels, stationery, wall hangings, paints, ornaments and jewelry. And you can bet that lots of the featured items will have a Texas flare to them.

Some of the local artists West Elm will featuring include:

Tiny Fawn, an Etsy shop out of Dallas that features prints of the cutest tiny
animals you've ever seen.

Twin Sisters Interiors, started by Theresa Naramore and Cheryl Green who happen to be identical twins, if the company name didn’t already give it away, who specialize in both commercial and residential interior design services.
