After being shuttered for nearly half a year by flood damage, gourmet frank purveyor The Dogfather will reopen Nov. 26, Black Friday.
The San Antonio restaurant shared the news Thursday on social media, noting that the grand re-opening would take place from noon-2 a.m. "Thank you for patiently waiting for us and thank you to our staff for sticking by us. We totally appreciate your support," the post reads.
Flooding during June rendered The Dogfather's kitchen and dining room inoperative. Initially, the restaurant pivoted by serving from a food trailer, but after a few days, co-owner Patrick Curel told the Current that was an unrealistic fix.
