Converse Is Making Limited Edition San Antonio Spurs Chuck Taylors

Now before you get too excited, realize that when I say limited edition, I mean limited edition.

Converse, maker of the ever-classic Chuck Taylors, will launch a special NBA collection that will feature a design for all 30 teams. Yep, Spurs-specific Chuck Taylors will soon be a reality as part of the Chuck '70 NBA Gameday collection, one of the three sub-collections.

The shoes will be made out of authentic NBA jerseys and back with leather lining, according to the company's website. A special Converse x NBA label will be added to the underside of the shoe's tongue in honor of the collaboration.

Here's the catch: the company is only making 250 pairs for each team.

That's barely enough for one extended family, let alone an entire city full of ultra-dedicated Spurs fans. So if you're a sneakerhead, Spurs fan or Converse supporter, we just have one thing to say to you: good luck.
