Puro San Antonio: Chicken on a Stick is Now at Chisme All Year Round

San Antonians wait all year long for Fiesta, well ... for many reasons. The culture, the arts, the booze, oh, and the food. Arguably one of the most popular food booths, chicken on a stick is an unofficial rite of passage during the two-week long festivities.

Now, San Antonians can enjoy the deep fried goodness any day of the year when dining at Chisme. The trendy Mexican restaurant shared a photo of the delicacy on its Facebook page announcing the new menu item with a cutesy caption:

JUST IN CASE NO ONE HAS TOLD YOU: You can get Chicken on a Stick 365 days a year at Chisme! Totally hot and fresh, with NO LINE and NO TICKETS. Fiesta forever. XO, Chisme!

Representatives from Chisme let us know that chefs brine the chicken in pickle juice overnight to pack it full of flavor and make the breading in house, so you know it's made with love and is authentic AF.

The Fiesta fare will cost $5, which sounds dangerous. We'll be slamming these back like no one's business tbh.
