Yep, Churchill High School alumnus Alan Palomo — aka Neon Indian's frontman — will be headed to Texas, including a stop at Paper Tiger, to bring some electronic tunes our way.
If you don’t know the story, Palomo grew up in SA, went to college in Denton and in 2009 with his band Neon Indian released the chillwave gem Psychic Chasms. Rolling Stone named Neon Indian one of the best new bands of 2010 and the rest is sort of history.
If you dig bands like Washed Out or artists like Com Truise, you’ll most likely get into the sparkly pop jams of Neon Indian, you know, if you haven’t already (which if you listen to either, you most likely know already, OK? OK great).
Saturday, December 30, $23-$25, 8pm, Paper Tiger, 2410 N. St. Mary's St., papertigersatx.com.
