A 1926 stone home built by the developer of San Antonio's Olmos Park is on the market

San Antonio developer H.C. Thorman, who created the Olmos Park and Monticello Park neighborhoods, had a proclivity for building limestone-exterior houses, and one those was recently listed for $1.4 million.

Built by Thorman in 1926, the 3,600-square-foot home is located in his Olmos Park development, and it includes the original hardwood floors plus a swimming pool surrounded by a limestone patio.

The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath property underwent a major renovation in the 1980s that included adding a second story, according to its sales listing. While the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, the home still retains some Art Deco touches, including its arched doorways.
