A Fool in Love

With a pop-up party and exhibit of works by Victoria Suescum, Cinnabar Gallery invites you to get arty with that special someone this Valentine’s Day. Suescum’s exhibit, which will remain on view through February 28, deftly and playfully melds the iconography of local signage with that of tarot cards, creating a juxtaposition that calls us to ponder the way in which our expectations are molded by various types of symbols and signs. Meanwhile, this opening reception also features free tarot card readings and snacks crafted by Chamoy City Limits. All in all, this event seems like a fun and quirky alternative to all of the boring things that you were considering doing on Valentine’s Day.
