A stately two-story home in the Monte Vista Historic District that once belonged to D. Leslie Hollon, retired senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, has hit the market for just under $1.3 million, according to real estate records.

The two-story brick home, built in 1928, is up for sale less than two years after Hollon and his wife Vicki sold it after residing there from 2009 until 2021.

Among the notable features in the four-bedroom, three-bath property is a sunroom with arched windows and striking Redondo floor tile, which is original to the house. Arched doorways and a dramatic entry stairway are also among the home's architectural details.

In addition to a casita and a second-floor deck overlooking a swimming pool, the also home boasts that rarest of San Antonio features: a basement.
