A home for sale in King William has some of the most breathtaking woodwork in San Antonio

San Antonio's King William area has no shortage of beautiful millwork and architectural details, but a home now on the market in that historic district may have some of the most show-stopping woodwork of any in the city.

The front door, which features delicate stained glass work, swings into living area with sweeping ceilings and a regal-looking staircase stained to show off the wood's natural grain. Transoms are located above many of the interior doorways and a beadboard ceiling — again with a natural finish — runs through the kitchen and dining area.

The home was built 1905 for a family member of King William resident Hugo Griesenbeck, who happened to live in the home just to its right. Another bit of trivia: the property to its left is the second-oldest house in King William.

The three-bedroom, three-bath house is on the market for $714,000.

This home is listed by Kristi Maxwell with Kuper Sotheby's International Realty.
