A two-story home with dual wraparound porches has hit the market near San Pedro Springs Park. Although in fine upkeep, a succession of owners has done little to change the property in the 122 years since it was built.
Listed for $659,000, the house didn't have any famous owners or architects, according to its listing agent. However, with the exception of an updated kitchen, the 3,200-square-foot residence is largely in the pristine state in which it was originally constructed — testimony to just how solidly it's constructed, the agent added.
That unchanged state means no overzealous decorator blew out the interior walls and painted everything a neutral gray. It's also still full of turn-of-the-last-century architectural details including a distinctive stairwell, a funky wood-framed fireplace, arched doorways and the beautiful transom window over the front entryway.
Let's take a look.
