The San Antonio Restaurant Association is holding their annual Taste of San Antonio at Freeman Expo Hall on Sunday, October 28. Attendees will get to sample foods from Mi Tierra, Nicha's Comida Mexicana, La Hacienda De Los Barrios, Fresh Horizons, J. Anthony's Seafood, CBQ Eatery, and more. Tickets are $35 general admission for adults (includes five drink tickets) and $10 for kids. The $60 VIP ticket gets you into the lounge area with specialty food and wine. Tickets can be bought at tasteofsanantonio.com or at any H-E-B customer service center.

Halloween is just around the corner, and the Pearl Farmers Market is bringing in some spooky surprises. Monsters from nearby Nightmare on Grayson will invade the market on Saturday morning. Those dressed up in costume can take photos with the scary creatures.
