Above and Beyond the Waves Opening Reception

Mark Mayfield Uploaded by Rudy Arispe

Bihl Haus Arts will host an artist reception for “Above and Below the Waves” photographic works by Mark Mayfield. The exhibition continues through November 6. Mayfield has always loved nature, and it informs his photographic practice today. A childhood fascination with his small family aquarium grew into a life-long passion for the inhabitants of coral reefs around the world. In recent years, birding has become part of his outdoor adventures and he’s also taken a big interest in plants.
