Hailing from Orange County, Calif., since 1979, Agent Orange was one of the first bands to fuse punk with surf — a blend that has become popular again. With a few lineup changes, including some ex-members of Social Distortion, the band is back on tour to remind this next generation of punkers where this shit came from. Also on the bill is Oakland’s The Atom Age. They claim to have found their inspiration from the “dust-covered collections of unhinged 60s punk and R&B” – and it shows in groove-happy songs like “It’s a Mess”.
