It’s that time again. Time to take out the fishnets, cake on some makeup, and brush up your “Time Warp” dancing skills — the Cameo Theatre will be hosting The Rocky Horror Experience, a concert performance, on Friday and Saturday starting at 10:15 p.m. A costume party with cash prizes, a singing bee, and more can be expected at this homage to the cult classic.

This event is a must-see since it almost never happened. Cameo Theatre’s Jim Zaccaria said that because Menopause The Musical ran so long and The Great American Trailer Park Musical starts up immediately after Menopause’s run, it seemed nearly impossible. But Trailer Park’s opening night was pushed back to accommodate Rocky Horror.

Looking for an egg-tastic event (sorry, we had to go there) this weekend? Look no further than Eggshell Artistry’s Sixth Annual Decorated Eggshell Art Show and Sale featuring fabergé-inspired egg art. The event is at the La Quinta Inn & Conference Center at IH-10 East on Saturday from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. For more information contact the Eggshell Artistry at
(210) 494-5325.
