Art SA continues its campaign to become the gallery for early-career San Antonio artists with Milestones, an exhibit featuring seminal work by each of the participants, Paula Cox, Donna Simon, Thomas Cummins, Justin Schneider, Gary Wise, Jonathan Cowan, Steve DaLuz, and Scott Cooper. Representational, surreal, abstract, and new urbanist works are all on display at 206 E. Nakoma. The opening reception is from 6-9 p.m. Friday, November 18. Recent UTSA grad J. Derrick Durham marks his own milestone with another off-campus one-man show at i2i Gallery, on the heels of his well-received Contemporary Art Month installation, Time Lord: the Secret Life of Sarkov, at C-Art Space `see The Art Capades, August 4-10, 2005`. The opening reception for If You Feel Like a Patient Why Not Dress Like One is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, November 17, at 2110 McCullough. The show runs through December 10. For more info, call 744-7887.
