Astronomy on Tap: Chandra X-Ray Observatory Celebration

Astronomy on Tap San Antonio, TX is excited to bring you a special evening to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chandra X-Ray Observatory’s launch. They will welcome astronaut Colonel Eileen Collins and Dr. Rodolfo Montez, Jr. to the AoT SATX stage at the Witte Museum. Eileen Collins was the commander of the space shuttle that launched the observatory. Dr Montez works for the Chandra Center at the Center for Astrophysics at Harvard-Smithsonian. Tickets include drinks, light food fare and a special AoT SATX gift.
