Love great beer? Love great food? How about great music? Well, the still brand-spanking new Paper Tiger has got all your needs covered! On Tuesday, June 28 from 7:00-10:00pm, the Deep Ellum Brewing Co. and one of San Antonio's premier chefs, Jason Dady, team up for a night unlike any other: the Pints & Plates Beer & Dinner Concert Series.

Based out of Dallas, the Deep Ellum Brewing Co. has made a name for itself in the craft beer industry by cranking out great-tasting brews like their Dallas Blonde, the Dream Crusher, and the Easy Peasy IPA. Deep Ellum will bring their full line of beers … and their A game … to the Pints & Plates event. They’ll need both as they’ll be working with a true culinary superstar.

In San Antonio, few are bigger in the restaurant industry than Chef Jason Dady. Two Bros. BBQ Market, Tre Trattoria, the Shuck Shack, the Duk Truck—all came from Dady’s innovative mind and visionary culinary tastes. At Pints & Plates, Dady is crafting a four-course meal that will pair perfectly with the delicious craft beer of Deep Ellum.

What’s on the menu for this seated dining experience? Well, first is a helping of family style chips and “Bro Dips,” followed by a market salad, Burrata with Texas peaches and smoked walnuts. Next up, a course titled “Poultry and Pigs.” This will feature ribs, pulled pork, and smoked chickens with salsa verde. You want beef, they got that too. Smoked Angus beef brisket, beef hot dogs, “Cheesy Chop,” and Frito pies are all going to be offered.

Oh yeah, there’s going to be dessert too: banana “crack” pudding with Nutella,
pretzels, and cajeta. All of that, each dish, each course, will be paired with one of Deep Ellum’s finest. For those of you who happen to not be beer enthusiasts (I don’t understand you, but that’s OK; we can still be friends), wine and cocktails will be available.

The Paper Tiger is currently one of the hottest concert venues in the Alamo City. Since its opening (more of a reinvention of the space) last year, it has attracted some of the best touring acts in live music today and has breathed new life into that area of St. Mary’s Street.

To wit, that brings us to the third component of the Pints & Plates event: the concert. Why else have an event at the Paper Tiger if not to include some great music? That part of the evening will be provided by Garrett T. Capps. The eccentric local performer will

bring his unique sound to help perfectly compliment the evening. DJ Rae Cabello will also be on hand to provide the beats.

Tickets to the Pints & Plates event are extremely limited (only 80 are available) and are flying fast. Admission is $100 per person and includes the beer, the food, the music, and a commemorative pint glass (you can never have too many of those, trust me). Tickets are available online. Get them while you still can!
