> Of course, we head straight for the stewed chicken feet in black bean sauce.
Kidding. But we do tend to fall for the beef tripe steamed in ginger, the taro root cake with pork, dried shrimp and rice flour, and the shrimp sui mai stuffed into a wheat flour skin. All of these are from Golden Wok's exemplary dim sum selection, and they're just teasers on a menu that goes from familiar spare ribs to rice noodle sheets, enveloping your choice of shrimp, pork or beef. The regular menu could never hope to be quite as exotic as the contents of a dim sum cart, but the Chef Specialties column does give the culinary adventurer a few good things to chew on, including the honey-roasted Peking duck with Chinese crepes and the basil chicken that also adds scallops to the mix. A variety of teas, from intense oolong to delicate longjing, will please the aficionado. This is not your auntie's iced Lipton, y'all.
