Mayor Phil Hardberger (2005-2009) was a popular mayor, but he’ll be forever immortalized by the beautiful park that bears his name, a vast area of virtually untouched land in the middle of the city. Its playground for children ages two to 12 boasts an 80-slot parking lot, swings, a Tsunami slide, a carousel, a double-arch climber, rock and ride, an Intensity Atomic Fitness Play Complex, and a Circuit Play Kids Fitness Course.
