When Rolling Stone declares you the "Best Young Gun" in its "Best of Rock" issue, you're making impact on the world with your music.

Born and raised in Austin, Gary Clark Jr. picked up the guitar at 12 years old and the rest is sort of history. His sound is a blend of the classics like Eric Clapton, B.B. King, and The Stones, but also soul, hip-hop and even elements of Americana/folk for a unique sound that’s been garnering attention for nearly a decade.

Clark just announced an extensive U.S. tour with previously announced shows originally planned for June now moved to the fall. The Austinite will be making an appearance at the Aztec Theatre on Sunday, October 28.

According to the press release, tickets originally purchased will be honored, refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Tickets for all new dates go on sale Friday, April 27 at 10am.
