Buc-ee's is the Best Gas Station in the Country, According to Survey

While it's no secret that Texans love our Buc-ee's, it turns out we (and those passing through the Lone Star State) love the gas station chain enough to name it the best in the country.

According to a 2017 survey by Gas Buddy, Buc-ee's took the top spot for the best gas station in the country. The survey looked six categories: coffee, cleanliness, customer service, outdoor lighting, restrooms and overall wonderfulness. Buc-ee's, of course, ranked first all six categories, guaranteeing the #1 spot.

Which makes sense. The coffee is pretty much always fresh, no matter what time you stop in. Cleanliness is all but guaranteed since you're bound to see at least two employees walking around with a broom and dustpan. Have you ever encountered an employee in a bad mood? Nope, because the starting pay is almost double minimum wage. With the giant Buc-ee's sign and the lights all around the gas pumps, there's light all around, so check on outdoor lighting too. The restrooms? You never have to wait in line, have privacy and they're clean as can be.

So of course Buc-ee's deserves top prize.
