Cabezudos Parade

When: Sat., June 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Price: Free
Famed Spanish folk artists Ventura&Hosta cartrons travel from Catalonia, Spain, to share the artistic tradition of Cabezudos with San Antonio. Cabezudos are large paper-mâché heads paired with ornate costumes—often inspired by religious figures and popular culture in Spain. The Tricentennial-inspired Cabezudos Parade will debut at the Pearl Farmers Market and culminate at Pearl Park with a live performance by Volcán, the 13-piece Indie-Latin Orchestra based in South Texas.
