In celebration of National Avocado Day, the speedy Mexican-adjacent chain is giving away free guacamole when you use the coupon code AVOCADO.

That's right, when you order an entree, Chipotle's coveted guac will take a one-day hiatus from being notoriously "extra." This offer applies only to online and mobile app orders.

"Our free, homemade guacamole has a massive fan following," said the company's chief marketing representative Chris Brandt in a press statement, "We want to show our love for the avocado and reward our customers' guac obsession."

You would be right to think that this fatty fruit holiday hasn't always been around. Catching the cultural moment of millennial avocado worship, the quirky holiday was declared by a California-based delivery service last year and we're definitely not mad about it.

The offer runs while supplies last, so if you miss out, you can always slice open one of H-E-B's finest avocados and make your own.
