Carly Aquilino

Other than a 2015 episode of The Jim Gaffigan Show where she portrayed Gaffigan’s sister-in-law, all of stand-up comic Carly Aquilino’s credits on Internet Movie Database are for playing herself, most notably on Girl Code. As one of the commentators on MTV’s popular how-to guide for millennial ladies, Aquilino dispensed sage wisdom such as: “We’re just as disgusting as guys are, we just cover it up better,” and “I think girls will stop lying about being good drivers when guys stop lying about what eight inches really is.” Though the show’s off the air, Aquilino continues to inspire fans through social media posts — such as tweeting her celebration of a negative result on a pregnancy test or chronicling the construction of a blanket fort in her living room in an Instagram Story. A Buzzfeed article once called her the “Most Relatable Person Ever” for a reason.
