Just when we thought we couldn't find any more ways to show our love of all things Kawhi Leonard, this happens.
Caleb Saenz of
48 Minutes of Hell (one of the Internet’s premier Spurs blogs) created a set of classic basketball cards featuring Leonard to rally support for him to start the NBA All-Star game.
We’ll see whether they did the trick soon enough — in the most recent returns, Leonard trailed Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green by a few thousand votes — as the NBA will release the final results on Thursday, January 21. But regardless of the outcome, the cards themselves will still be incredible.
Saenz created the set of nine cards in Photoshop (just as he did for this
Spurs-themed Cheers logo and this
Big Red and barbacoa Lays bag). The cards mirror classic designs of other sets from the early 1960s through the mid-1990s.

Even if Leonard doesn't make it as a starter, he'll definitely still play in the All-Star game. He's having his best season as a pro, averaging 20 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals per game. He's making 48 percent of his 3-point shots, good enough for second in the league.
