Cinema Terrible: Who Killed Captain Alex?

This month's Cinema Terrible offering is the viral, DIY not-quite-so-terrible-movie Who Killed Captain Alex. Billed as Uganda's first action film, this ultra low-budget opus is a wild mixture of comedy, kung fu, explosions, and utter supa craziness. It's also enlivened by Video Joker track riffing provided by VJ Emmie. The staff of the Central Library will provide the popcorn, but BYOD (bring your own non-alcoholic drinks) and bring your MST3K-style heckling skills to add to VJ Emmie's hilarious running commentary. Up to 3 hours free parking at the Central Library Garage! Validate your parking ticket at the 1st floor Reference desk.

This unassuming yet bright-yellow building houses well-filled breakfast tacos made with handmade tortillas. Crowd pleasers include the barbacoa and bean and cheese tacos, but with such an expansive menu, it’s hard to play favorites here.
