Parisian naughtypants Nicole Locher is at it again. Known for her candy-colored, hand-embroidered T-shirts sweetly inscribed with raunchy sayings, Locher has just released a 2008 spring/summer online collection. For those of you who tittered at, but didn’t order from, last year’s selection with its copious use of the f-word, you can play it a bit safer this time around. Several of the newer designs are in French, a language all but dead in San Anto. A vibrant teal v-neck with softly gathered elbow-length sleeves, embroidered in vintage ’50s postcard style with a songbird carrying a love letter, reads “Casse-toi, chéri” (or get lost, darling). For our brave commando souls, a floaty, dreamy fine knit in cream reads “San culotte” (no panties) amid dusty-rose, pale-green, and blue flowers. For the subtlest of bad-girl marketing, the phrase “petite salope” (little slut) hides charmingly nestled among the red and chocolate flowers gracing the shoulders of a pale square-neck top. The rest of this year’s “perversion with a touch of class” series keeps tongues firmly in cheek and youthful irreverence front and center. All tops are 100-percent fine cotton, hand-washable, and $87 U.S. To get your own, visit
