Confessions of a former climate change skeptic

It's not easy communicating the finer points of climate change (everything from differentiating weather from climate to explaining how it can still snow in an era of global warming trip up really nice folks all the time). Add to that a mobilized army of skeptical laypersons (not so many climate scientists, however) that turns out whenever mainstream climate science is asserted online, and you have a forecast for even more confusion. After engaging in some spirited conversation that followed my most recent Lone Star Green column (Castro declares 'Climate Awareness Month'), I thought some may appreciate this presentation from a former high-ranking climate skeptic. If you sometimes find yourself buffeted by the discourse, Rear Admiral David Titley covers the basics pretty darn well for a latter-day convert. Enjoy!
