‘Coping with COPD’
In an effort to teach the San Antonio community about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) the Humana Guidance Center is hosting a “Coping with COPD”’ informational session.
COPD is a term used to describe diseases including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, refractory asthma and some forms of bronchiectasis. Dr. Janey (Hsin-Yi) Wang, of San Antonio’s Partners in Primary Care and specialist in geriatric medicine, will discuss lifestyle changes and ways to find support to manage your COPD to the best of your ability.
The session will be held Wednesday, July 6 from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
