Creative Creatures

If you have never had the chance to experience a Creative Creatures event, it is safe to say that this Friday you have the ideal opportunity. It’s true: Creative Creatures, a quarterly event that showcases local and regional musical/artistic talent in all mediums/genres, will celebrate its three year anniversary with Friday’s special experience. Billed as “Creative Creatures vs. The Universe,” the event will feature, true to form, a diverse array of artists and performers, including tattoo artists, dancers, bands, and a smorgasbord of rad artists and artisans with work to show/sell. In terms of music, this edition will feature jazz-rock outfit Osringer, indie rock crew St. Dukes, and progressive ska band Young Costello, as well as house sounds by Typicalzach Dexigns. While there are too many excellent visual artists to even begin to mention, you’ll especially want to look out for Regina Morales (Hello Reg), Nik Soupé and Zane Thomas (Black Moon Print). Other highlights of the evening include, but are certainly not limited to, a photobooth and tasty eats provided by Renegade Foodie food truck.
