Organized by guest curator Andrei Renteria in observance of San Antonio’s Tricentennial, “Culturas” unites artists Hayfer Brea, Veronica Caceres, Ovidio Giberga, Rafael Fernando Gutierrez Jr., Vikky Jones, Josue Romero, Eric Saunders, Mercedes Stainken, Victoria Suescum, and Allison Valdivia in a creative investigation of latinidad, immigration, post- and neo-colonialism, race, color, legal status, class, nation, language and “politics of location redefining what it means to be an American.”
