In Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Vishnu has already appeared as nine unique avatars: Matsya (the fish), Kurma (the tortoise), Varaha (the boar), Narasimha (half-man/half-lion), Vamana (the dwarf), Parashurama (Rama with the axe), Rama (prince and king of Ayodhya), Krishna (literally “the dark one,” Krishna is often depicted as a young boy playing the flute), and Buddha. Much like God warns, “Don’t make me come down there,” from billboards, Vishnu is dressed and ready to visit the Earth as Kaliki, the tenth avatar and destroyer of all foulness.
