David Shelton Gallery moves to Houston

David Shelton Gallery, one of SA's strongest supporters of local artists--such as Joey Fauerso, Kelly O'Connor, Cruz Ortiz, and Vincent Valdez--announced  that the South Alamo contemporary art spot is moving to Houston. The inaugural exhibition of the new showroom will open September 7. The new gallery will be located in the Isabella Court building on Main Street, next to Inman Gallery, Kinzelman Art Consulting, Art Palace, and Devin Borden Gallery.

“Support for our programming has been steadily increasing in Houston for some time, beginning with our first exhibition at Inman Annex in 2010 and continuing after the Texas Contemporary last year. Being based in Houston will significantly increase exposure for the artists and their work among a diverse and highly sophisticated new audience, both within and beyond Texas,” said David Shelton.
