Hot Cheetos are making their way onto more menus these days regardless of what doctors claim, and the latest fiery red cameo is at Chocollazo.
According to chef/owner Mary Collazo, chef Jenni Williams "whizzed Hot Cheetos in the food processor to make a dust, that’s cooked into the crepe, so it’s a red crepe."
The crepe is then filled with scrambled eggs, spicy crumbled sausage, cheddar and queso fresco and served with a side of sour cream.
The concoction might not have normally been Collazo's cup of tea, but she says its tasty enough to hold a spot on their specials menu. It'll be available this Saturday during breakfast hours at $9.99.
This makes the second item in as many weeks to bless the area with more Hot Cheetos. Kuma San Antonio added a Hot Cheetos soft serve earlier this month.
