Join us for a screening of two documentaries by San Antonio filmmakers. Free food and drink. Films: tacho utrera making a jarana near coatepec veracruz, mx by gabriel morales and Carlos Salazar This short documents Tacho Utrera, famous jarana maker in Veracruz. Vida Propia by Sarah Garrahan and Nora Mendez Sanchez First-generation immigrant Nora Mendez finds herself working in a restaurant kitchen and struggling to support her family in the U.S. The film's observational style follows Nora through everyday moments- from working long hours, to spending time with her family, to reflecting upon the meaning of a life narrative itself.
