Don't Throw Out Your Kids' Halloween Costumes

Halloween is over. You've already raided your kids’ candy hauls and collected their discarded eye patches, cat ears, and glittery wings from around your house. What now? Chances are your kiddos aren't going to want to be a pirate and a ladybug again next year, so maybe you should just toss out their used accessories. But wait! Before you consider wastefully throwing away those precious costumes your children won’t fit into next year, you should consider donating them to Frank Whyte and Cassandra Lazenby’s Used Halloween Costume Drive.

All donations will be given to less fortunate children who will be able to wear them during next year’s Halloween. If you do not have any used costumes or accessories to donate, you can always stop by one of the many Halloween stores in town, all of which are having huge clearance sales. The drive is specifically for children’s costumes and accessories, however, so please refrain from donating any scandalous Disney princess costumes. Keep it PG.

Donations can be dropped off at various participating businesses around town from 9am-5pm through November 10. For a full list of businesses, click here. For more information, call (210) 538-GIVE.
