Inventory of Empty Streets is a photographic project documenting every street inside central London’s Congestion Charge Zone during the UK’s first COVID-19 lockdown in the spring of 2020. With approximately 3000 images and accompanying GPS and tracking metadata, Ganley explores the dissonance between the cinematic reading of the image and the very real anxieties during the pandemic. This exhibition includes select photographs, a 26-hour projection, and twelve volumes. Duncan Ganley is an artist/filmmaker based in London. Free and open to the public.
