El Rey Fido Coronation
The El Rey Fido Coronation became an official Fiesta event in 2014, but the tradition has been carried on since its humble beginnings in 2002. This annual celebration is the culmination of months of vigorous fundraising by local participants and their canine pets to raise the most for the dogs and cats at the San Antonio Humane Society. This dog-friendly event is carried out in true Fiesta spirit, from folklórico dances to vivid royal canine attire.
