With the help of state-of-the-art hydraulic systems, the autos will do the genuflecting at the 23rd Annual Lowrider Festival, Sunday, April 3. The puro San Antonio event gives lowrider artists the opportunity to show off their engineering and artistry as they compete for cash prizes and trophies. The MuddCatts, who tear it up in Beatles-meet-Elvis style, will share the stage with Joe Jama & The Proof, Ernie Garibay & Cats Don't Sleep, and other bands. Food and drink will flow. 10am-10pm at Mateo Camargo Park, across from Nelson Wolff Stadium at Callaghan and Highway 90. Admission is $10 for adults and children 12 years old and up. Children under 12 are free. Sponsored by Centro Cultural Aztlan.
