Express Your Puro Taco Love for Charity

Here in San Antonio, we all know about Austin's try-too-hard taco obsession. As I've said before, they go on and on like they invented the damn things.

And while we'd rather not enflame the endless Austin vs. San Antonio debate, the gauntlet has been thrown and the next battle in the I-35 Taco Wars has commenced.

Local producer/director Luis Munoz took inspiration from the "I love tacos so much" street art that used to grace the side of Wahoo’s Fish Taco in Austin, and thought, presumably, "Oh Austin has a taco wall? That's cute. We can have one, too." Now, he's inviting locals to Instagram themselves in front of San Antonio's "I love you tacos so much" street art. Use the hashtags #ILoveTacos or #ILoveTacosSoMuch between now and December 6, and Munoz says he'll donate $1 to "a local kids charity."

So what say you, San Antonio? Do we collectively love tacos so much that we are willing to possibly bankrupt a fellow taco lover? Head over to SA's taco wall across the street from Viva Tacoland (103 W. Grayson St.) at the corner of W. Grayson Street and E. Elmira Street and Instagram your taco love.

Austin's taco love may be pure. But San Antonio's taco love is puro.

Here's some shots who have already accepted the challenge.
