Famed King's Hwy Brew & Q Closing Next Month

It's a sad day for the Five Points neighborhood.

Kings Hwy. Brew & Q will close its doors this September 29.

Per a Facebook post, pitmaster Emilio Soliz and wife Christi Soliz will join B Daddy's BBQ in Helotes. Soliz was formerly the pitmaster at Two Bros BBQ until he opened Sweet Christi's Food Truck.

Here's the text in full:
The shop opened inside the former Taps y Tapas in late 2015 and earned accolades from local and national writers as well as TV personalities.

Barbecue fans will be able to score their fill of tortas, street tacos and market-style barbecue through September 29.
