The San Antonio Police Department arrested Antonio “Tony” Harris, fashion publicist and producer of Fashion Week San Antonio (FWSA), last night on theft allegations.

The San Antonio Express-News reports that Harris is accused of writing hot checks and for theft of service.

We've reached out to Harris to provide him an opportunity to comment on the SAPD's allegations.

Fashion Week San Antonio was founded in 2009 by a local chapter of Fashion Group International. In 2012, the group disbanded and Harris took ownership of Fashion Week, which has been gaining momentum under his leadership. (Disclosure: The San Antonio Current is a media sponsor for FWSA)

According to the San Antonio Express-News, the remainder of this weeks FWSA events will continue as planned through November 8.
