Fiesta San Antonio is here! To celebrate, the Department of Arts & Culture is hosting a Fiesta Medal Giveaways at locations around town. This limited-edition City of San Antonio Official 2022 medal will be available on a first come, first serve basis, one per person. This year’s medal features new public art titled “The Vibrant Village” by San Antonio Artist Joan Fabian. The last event will be on Sunday, April 3, 1-3 p.m.: “Spheres of Reflection” at MLK Park.

Fiesta favorite chicken-on-a-stick is basically the supreme food booth snack from all of Fiesta. San Antonians look forward to eating it all year, and usually commemorate their first chicken-on-a-stick of the season with a selfie. It’s inspired chicken-on-a-stick necklaces, earrings, stickers and more from local designers, and has appeared on menus across SA so folks can get their fix. Thank goodness for that.
