If you’re looking for the next spot to rack up likes on Instagram, The Flower Vault may be the place for you. A local, visually-striking temporary pop-up space, it was created exclusively for pictures for Instagram, the popular photo-sharing app. In other words, San Antonio has reached peak Insta.

Sarah and Robbie Forrest are the minds behind Flower Vault, "a journey into the prettiest in San Antonio." The Forrests leased a building, decked it out with flowers and are ready to see their creation flood the popular social media platform. The Forrest family (they have two kiddos under 5 years) lived in Cairo for the past three years and recently came back to the States. Sarah, a San Antonio native, is the creative and loves to create beautiful spaces, while Robbie is more business-oriented. They knew they wanted to work together, and that’s how Flower Vault came to fruition. They set out to create a space for families, where photo shoots could take place within a moment's time.

This past Thanksgiving, Sarah brainstormed with her sister and they came up with the room themes for Flower Vault. The location is around 2,000 square feet and has five themed rooms, such as the Wall-Flower room. That being said, they only sell 25 tickets per 30-minute time slot so you’re not photobombing anyone.

The Forrests are currently taking reservations for The Flower Vault for March and soon April, but have hopes of recreating the Insta-magic across other cities. Guests can also rent the space out for private photo sessions, for your group of friends and for proposals (or ahem, promposals). The couple is also toying with the idea of hosting a speed-dating event, because why not.

Entrance is $15 for anyone 11 and up, and you can bring your pup as long as they’re on a leash. Time slots are open for March 12 - March 31 with Spring Break Hours ranging from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; the pop-up will open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check out their Facebook for more info, or visit to book your spot.
